Le Coq Au Vin offers a fresh twist on legendary french foods by implementing new world flavors with classic french dishes. We pride ourselves in utilizing the philosophy 'from farm to the table' by introducing many products that are indigenous to the state of Florida for our customers to enjoy each and every day.
Le Coq au Vin Restaurant was among the first, open in 1976, and is still among the best Zagat America’s top restaurants. The restaurant is now owned and operated by Chef Reimund Pitz and his wife Sandy, in partnership with Chef Louis and Magdalena Perrotte. The cuisine reflects traditional classical cooking techniques as well as different cultural influences.

Chef Pitz and Chef Perrotte have spent over 20 years traveling all across the globe on behalf of the American Culinary Federation as well as the World Association of Chef Societies, giving back to a profession that has been so very good to both of them. In the process, they have developed close friendships that stand across the globe, providing them with direct insights on global indigenous products that are introduced from time to time in the specialty section Le Coq au Vin’s dinner menu. Both chefs continually research and develop to bring their guests classic dishes as well as new and innovative creations that will excite their loyal local clientele, international business travelers, and of course, those new customers that rely very heavily on Zagat to source the top restaurants in the country. Both chefs sincerely feel that all the accolades they have collected over the years re-emphasize their day-to-day dedication to their customers, since it is they who make it possible for the chefs to have served for so many years to the present.
